I reported concern for a 18-year-old man
Welfare check hasn't been successful in 2. Days as no answer
When can they break entry

Call 101 for the police advice line or 111 for health line, who did you report it to originally. Do you know if he has family, friends, carers or a key anywhere.

llllttttt · 02/12/2018 20:34

@cheesywotnots the operator at 101 does not know
And the report is he is being abused

Who was it reported to, it's difficult to know, do you think he is in danger.

llllttttt · 02/12/2018 21:02

@cheesywotnots yes and reported it to 101

Police can force entry at any point. If you think he is a threat to his own life you should be calling 999. Hope he is ok x

WatcherOfTheNight · 02/12/2018 21:12

Agree with @tobeornottobe1 999 ,I'd rather someone vulnerable be checked tbh .

cheesywotnots · 02/12/2018 21:23

The police can force entry and call an ambulance if needed. Hope he is ok.

llllttttt · 02/12/2018 21:37

The sergeant is on the case after phoning 101
Does it make a difference if I phone 999

OP posts:
Nicknacky · 02/12/2018 21:43

No, it won’t make a difference. If a Sgt is now in charge then entry will be forced if necessary. Phoning 999 to tell them what they already know won’t change anything.
