I successfully won at a small claims hearing as colleague owed me money and refused to pay so I had to make a claim and it went to court, the judge ordered hundred pounds a month as that what she said she could afford however I've been told by a friend I can escalate this and get a high court writ so I get my money back quickly, does anyone know how this works

How much is the debt? To be honest, you’re probably better off where you are. Using a high court enforcement officer or bailiff will cost you more money.

I would use a High Court Enforcement Officer- they have far more power and you only pay their fee if they cannot get the money back.
