Contractual terms and joint liability

A and B have signed a contract. B requests to terminate the contract to avoid the penalty, A refuses. Third party refuses to terminate on the basis A is not in agreement. A finally agrees to terminate however there are now substantial fees incurred in lieu of the required notice. Does B remain liable for these fees?

Jointly liable means that the third party can pursue either A or B for the whole amount. So yes, B remains liable.

However, B may have a claim against A.

If I understand correctly.

Ok, as I expected then.
