DH's Ex now refusing to make an offer

Hello!
I got some really good advice from people on here with my last thread about how to proceed when my husband's ex was lying on her form E. We have put in our questionnaire regarding the payments from her partner (who she is claiming doesn't live with her) plus missing pages from her tax credit claims but not yet received a response.

My DH went for the first court hearing to get direction and they were told by the judge that she needs to make him a reasonable offer of settlement before April 9th and he absolutely did not want to see them back at court over such a silly amount of money (total equity is about £50k), however I have a screen shot of a text message from her where she has said she is not going to make an offer and she is going to take it all the way to court because of my husband's behaviour in a marriage that ended 15 years ago. (infidelity on both sides - irrelevant) to "see if the judge agrees" with my husband's request that the home is now sold and proceeds split due to their children now being adults. This is going to cost us another £5k on top of the £5k we have already paid and it just seems spiteful and pointless. Will the judge see it this way?

It's only gone this far as she has resisted and refused to cooperate from the start. She just seems to be cutting off her nose to spite her face through jealousy after her original demand was to have the whole house signed over plus a compensation payment for the endowment shortfall from us refused in the direction meeting.

The judge can and often do award costs if one party is being overly obstructive. So if you have proof of her being so there is a good chance you could be awarded costs (its all down to the judge so i can say you will definitely get a costs award its just a possibility).
