Court Order sent but wrong

Hi. Just after a bit of advice.....

A final court order for a child arrangement order was made. I was self represented, the other party had solicitor and barrister. The court order has been worded in a way that is so complicated and basically is the total opposite of what was agreed. The judge on the day agreed with me but they've written and submitted the order which is obviously wrong (done intentionally as it is in favour of them). How do I get it amended? Do I need to apply for another order? Can I write to the judge?

Thanks

My dp emailed them and they changed it. New one arrived about a month after email

Bloody hell. That's scarey. Contact the court for advice. Quite shocked that they could do that. Can you complain to law society? If solicitors are trying it on cos you self repped that's disgraceful

Email the court and the other side's solicitor. The address is likely to be family@"your town".countycourt.gsi.gov.uk, but you should be able to google it. Mark it for the attention of the judge.

Copy your letter to his solicitor/ barrister with a request they email it to the judge.

Judges give their email address to lawyers but not to unrepresented parties, so they have a faster pipeline to the judge.

Thank you all so much. Will email in the morning.

Hi, if emailing doesn't work and you try amending it by agreement with the solicitor and that doesn't work, you may wish to get a transcript of the relevant parts of the hearing and then write to the court with the transcript and set out what needs changing
