Can anyone recommend an online divorce service?

Been separated for 6 years - keen to keep it as low key as possible. Ex will not be contesting, want to keep it all simple.

Have a look at wikivorce website OP. Lots of help and advice with online divorce.
You can actually do the paperwork yourself and save a fortune! Flowers

CItizens Advice website may have useful links too.

It really depends on how much you want to pay. My firm does a fixed fee divorce for£1222, and that includes the court fee of £550 and vat. Most firms these days should quote a fixed fee for something like this.

Do it yourself and just pay the court costs. Really, really easy and simple given how long you've been separated and the fact it's not going to be contested. Don't get sucked in to thinking you need to pay for a solicitor or online service.

I did mine myself six years or so ago. I think it’s even easier now as you can fill the forms in online and print them out. If you’ve got nothing to fight over, all you’ll have to pay is the £500ish court fees.

Did mine myself . All agreed and no argument about house/child arrangements. Went to the county court (also known as family court and could be in a 'combined court centre these days) and got there 'divorce pack' which included petition (x 3) and notes on how to complete it and where/who it needed to be sent to.

There was also a form in there to claim a fee exemption or reduction. I was pleasantly surprised that despite not receiving any benefit except child benefit and working full time on a fairly decent wage - I qualified for the full exemption so my divorce was free.
I would always recommend applying for fee reduction. Don't forget not to include the income of the person you are divorcing even if they are living with you. !
