Should I go with him to court?

My DP has his final hearing on contact soon. He's really quite worried about how it will go, and I would like to be there to support him. However, I'm also aware that it might be seen as provocative/insensitive to the 'other side' and possibly even to the magistrates/judges, if they did happen to notice. I wasn't the OW or anything but the DC's mum has made it clear consistently that I am seen as an enemy. I don't want to do anything that would inflame the situation.
Any thoughts?

I wouldnt go to court tbh my dh has a daughter from a previous relationship his ex didn't make it easy for him to see her at times but I never got involved when he did have contact with her it was just him and her his daughter is 17 now a d can make her own choices it might seem unfair but untill he has proper court ordered contact I wouldnt atagonise the situation. .

Thanks x2: I should add I had thought about hanging around in a cafe nearby or something instead, but thought that might be weird!

Yes it is weird. Don't do that

Well you would only be allowed to sit in waiting area anyway. You wouldn’t be allowed in court room and the magistrate wouldn’t have a clue who was there and who wasn’t.

She doesn’t get to control what he does in his contact time.

Ok thanks Racmactac, that's helpful. I think I'll just meet him afterwards.

Thank you!
