Section 7 report recommendations

The recommendations in a Cafcass section 7 report, do judges normally follow those straight off? How much room for negotiation is there at the hearing?

They normally go with the recommendations, but not always.

They're can be room for negation if you can prove some of the facts in the report are wrong, because they based their decision on wrong information.

They're definitely based on wrong information but it's a bit tricky to prove as they seem to have gone solely on what the children have said which are unfortunately pretty much complete lies. Which is of course very sad that they feel compelled to present in the interviews. But this Cafcass officer has not anywhere asked any questions as to why the children have formed their negative views.

Or is it normal for them to just reiterate what the children have said with no reflection around it?

How old are the children? Because that will hold a lot of weight in regards to the section 7 report.

There should be a bit if reflection with why the children have said that, I would imagine.

Some of them are definitely old enough.
