Hi can anyone quickly tell me what the law is in france regarding children if the parents break up? No issues or scandal just a breakdown of relationship.

I think vaguely that the lower earner does not get as much money as here (France is more equal and men and women both work than our rather sexist housewife style UK) and also that it is more likely both parents are likely to have more equal amounts of time with children too - which is much better and fairer and more feminist than English law.
