Does anyone know if it is legal/simple to sell some land without using a solicitor? Apart from having to perhaps answer some questions from the purchaser's solicitor and signing the land registry documents, are there any other considerations when deciding whether to appoint a solicitor to handle a land sale?
The land in question has no issues that I'm aware of and I don't want any clauses in the contract to say what can and can't be done with it, neither do I want any future share in it.
