I know that only EPAs signed before Oct 2007 are valid and after that you have to have an LPA. What is the difference between the two?

We have elderly parents who have an EPA for finance and are in the process of taking out an LPA for health and welfare. Is there going to be a conflict if they are implemented as they are different types or can they run smoothly together?

Any comments gratefully appreciated.

No, that will be fine. The LPAs will run entirely separately from the EPAs.

(I'm a willwriter and do LPAs as well btw Smile)
