Quick question regarding Legal aid...

applying for a Non-Mol,

Judge wanted the other party to agree to it as he's admitted doing stuff listed after stating he 100% didn't do them, he then changed this to he's not done 90% of the stuff listed.

the judge said he'd be liable to pay the cost if a order was made as he's had the chance to agree and admitted to doing the stuff. I receive legal aid so he'd have to pay the legal aid people.

He has asked for me to pay his cost then however the judge said he wouldn't be awarded anything as he's self-representing, he's now saying he'll get a solicitor so I'll have to pay his fees, the judge wasn't impressed with this but just said "okay then" and didn't elaborate

If I'm receiving legal aid will I have to pay his fees or will it come out of the legal aid?

In theory, if the judge finds that you've been lying, you might be ordered to pay his costs. However that seems highly unlikely.

Simply don't worry about it. He's the one who should be worried. sounds like he's already annoyed the judge, and the prior admissions won't help him one little bit.

Thank you,

It was just that nobody explained it and he once again turned up with his friends for no reason apart from to tell my solicitor she lived near an asda, has a DD with SN but brought her DD who had Anorexia and didn't have time to be here Hmm

He Denied a lot then changed to "I don't know, I've seen no evidence no" But I've got evidence to prove otherwise and he kept staring he hadn't contacted me since March but he was spoken to by the police in May when he was served with a Harassment warning notice and other emails to prove otherwise.

He's given us 3 hours but will it take that long? Is there a chance he'll listen to him rattle on about my DS? He keeps bringing him up in the hearing but it has nothing to do with the non-mol

The 3 hours should include reading time and delivering the judgment. In reality a judge will have quite a few 3 hour cases listed on the same day. they just hope most of them settle.
