That's it really, I'm thinking of taking a case against a very nasty lady who has been saying and writing things about me . 3 separate investigations have shown that I acted within my remit.

I suppose that depends on whether ROI law applies or NI.

yes, in theory, but generally you need a solicitor specialising in cross border law. Cheaper and simpler to get an Irish solicitor if you want to take a case to an Irish court, living in NI doesn't prevent that.

Collaborate - it's a separate legal jurisdiction. You might as well ask if French law applies in England.

getoffthephonenoworelse - most of the big firms will have a reciprocal agreement with firms down south.
