Not sure but if anyone has any advice! I am fed up of Occ. Health calling me. I now get a phine call at lease once a week asking when i am going to return to work. I have just had spinal surgery and she asked 3 days later when i plan to return!!!. I am signed off by docs but aibu after telling them to stop calljng so often. They got really shitty with me last phone call as i said i now have a further problem which has been caused by the surgery. They are also starting disciplinary action against me for being off sick i have been off for 5 months.

Hello, did you draft that email?

I wonder what the OH is trying to gain via these daily calls. Note down dates and times, and nicely reference the rate and number of calls, and say you're confused as to why your employers would need daily updates when you've just had a major operation / been informed by a consultant xxx

Normally occ health see you (or just phone you) and get medical info from your Consultant etc They then write a report for your employers giving a prognosis on when you are likely to return to work They are paid by the employers to do this. They can also suggest a phased return to work and any reasonable adjustments you need eg a special chair time off for Consultant appointments You should have had a written report from them

Are you on statutory sick pay or half or full pay or not being paid anything?
