I ordered some expensive radiators from a company over 10 weeks ago, with a delivery time of 6 weeks.
At 6 weeks I rang and was told they were being painted and that they'd call me about delivery the following week.
Since then I've heard nothing, despite numerous 'phone calls & emails.
I've got tin from work to find a notice of liquidation.
I paid using a credit card, am I right in thinking that we should get all our money back?
I feel sick at the thought of the money, they were a real splurge item that we had to use a big chunk of our budget for.

You should get your money back from your credit card company if over a certain value.

But, I the company have your goods in their stock, then you may be able to get them directly from the receivers/administrators. I forget the phrase but those goods cannot be counted as te company's property if they've already been sold to someone else.

Oh thank you. Should I contact the company secretary or wait & let the CC company do it?

I would contact them directly and stake your claim for your goods. Send a copy of your receipt and detail the items you are expecting.

I had to do this awhile back for some jewellery - there was no argument, but it just took a bit of time to sort (a few weeks)

Will do it now, thanks so much.

Update. Mastercard have said they will take over the case. Talking to them it seems quite a common occurrence.
