CSA query

Hi,
I know when the CSA are looking into the income of the NRP ( non resident parent ), they look at their earnings from either employment or self employment but I have heard that they can take into consideration other sources of income. Please can someone confirm what else they can look at other than earnings/ income ? Can they take into consideration both working tax credits and child tax credits if the NRP received either of these? Or is it just working tax credits they can look at because child tax credits presumably are for another child from a different family. I'm a little confused. Any advice appreciated.
