My dh and I have recently won a court case against our someone which has resulted in him owing us a few thousand pound.

He has been ordered to pay in the judgement within 14 days but that has now passed.

We are a bit stuck on the best way to enforce the judgement and I wondered if anyone had an experience of this.

our options are

court bailiff

private bailiff

or freezing his bank accounts

He is a business owner of a ltd company with a few properties.

I know I could charge against the property but im really want to get my money and put it behind me if poss.
What route do you think I should take?

Try contacting these people...they are incredibly helpful and have provided excellent results on the three or four occasions I've used them...

There's plenty of info on the website too. My only advice is not to leave it very long.

Thank you.

I think I am going to do the order to obtain information and see what he has got where first and then decide the best course of action from that.

What I actually want to do is stand on his doorstep until he gives me a cheque but I know I can't!

I put a charge on my exes property. It worked out well. He had to pay me a monthly fee and then I just sat tight until he sold. I got all my money plus court fees and a decent amount of interest

Hi bumblebee.

The company I gave you details for below will go and stand on his doorstep for a fixed fee of (I think) £60!
