Food Hygiene / public liability

I've just seen this Guardian article about eating alone, and it mentions about a couple of food sharing websites.

I looked at shareyourmeal.co.uk, and it's a great idea! You put on the site what you're cooking, and if someone local wants some they get in touch, and pay you for the ingredients.

I love cooking, but it always feels a bit too much effort just to cook for one (and I'm never keen on bulk cooking / freezing), so this seems ideal.

But then I wondered - although I'd only be charging for the other person's share of ingredients, would there be any additional responsibility re: food hygiene / public liability etc? Would it matter how often I did it?

No because you are not profiting from this arrangement. It is an arrangement of mutual consent,

Ah, thanks! I thought that might be the case, but couldn't seem to find anything to justify that.
