I have court today for a non mol order on babies dad,

He has written on fcebook today "court at 2, hopefully justice will be served wish me luck"

Are you allowed to write about court on social networks?i haven't written anything on the issue obviously because I don't think it's appropriate - I don't even have a Facebook!

don't know a bout legally but his post doesn't seem to give too much info so would think you may have trouble stopping it.
I don't know what your situation is but this one post seems pretty harmless?
Try not to worry about it and can you check it out with someone at the court today?

mumblechum1 · 24/07/2013 11:23

If that's all he's said, he is unlikely to be in trouble (the law prevents him from discussing the case and providing documents to third parties etc).

As an aside, shouldn't you be blocking him from FB anyway?

Good luck for today.

Well done to your solicitor. I'm sure you were very appreciative of them. Smile

I've been keeping an eye on things, his sister put something on about my eldest daughter yesterday. I reported it it wasn't threatening. It was just outside the boundaries as she mentioned my daughters name on there. Waiting for a phone call back from solicitors. It wasn't just over Facebook to which I applied for the injunction it was because of the domestic abuse/violence, threats towards my family and myself.

And of course I was appreciative! I had screening thank fully so I didn't have to see him.

The advice I give my clients about facebook is to remove your account completely.

betterthanever · 26/07/2013 22:34

Louise why do you ask them to do that?

Collaborate · 27/07/2013 06:14

Presumably because she sees the same as I do - too many instances of people oversharing on facebook or displaying a nasty side.

mumblechum1 · 27/07/2013 06:20

I sometimes, not always, advised that too. Far too many people have horribly ugly feuds on FB for the world to see.
