My employer is selling her business as a going concern (she thinks we don't know !) - if she sells will be entitled to redundancy pay if we are
not kept on by the new owners ?

Yes, the business is on-going. Your employment will date from when you first started working for the company, not when it was bought out.

You will be entitled to redundancy; you may also be protected under TUPE.

You will only be entitled to redundancy pay if you qualify for redundancy pay but lala is right in that you will retain your continuity of service from when you commenced employment with your current employer.

If you have been employed for less than two years at the time you are made redundant (if that happens) then you will not qualify for redundancy pay but would be entitled to your notice monies.
