Viewing a will

Is it possible to get a copy of a will if you are not the executor? FIL's aunt just died and he'd like to see the will. How would we go about it?

Does he have reason to believe he's a beneficiary of the will? If he is then I assume he will be contacted by the solicitor dealing and if not, surely it's none of his business anyway?

When probate has been granted the will becomes a public document. Copied are available from the probate registry.

As Collaborate says, he can obtain a copy from the probate office once the grant has been made.

If this lady's only just died it could be a month or two before your DH can obtain a copy.
