Help for DSis - Missed court date

My DSis was due in court for a speeding offence for speeding in a temporary 40 zone (not sure how fast she was going).

She thought the court date was 19th, was getting her paperwork ready and realised it was the 9th.

She already has 6 points

She has just rung me in floods of tears.

Is there anything she can do and is likely to be the outcome? Am assuming they will have made a default guilty judgement, but does anyone know if she can appeal and will they revoke her licence or just add points and a fine?

She is banned - she has 12 points.

Catgirl let us know what the court says.

that is what i meant - some drive on 15

avenue I have no idea what is up with the 12 year old whatever comment Hmm Since the OP is clearly concerned for her sister it would be awful if she didn't receive the correct advice so why don't you run along with your childish attitude.

I am trying to make it clear to the OP that on the information she has provided her sister is banned because she appears understandably unclear and she posted looking for advice.

It is important because even if the sister doesn't know she has been banned, she still commits an offence if she drives and the courts treat the offence very seriously.

Your attitude Sarah you can give advice without being so blunt, it doesn't make you sound clever just rude.
