I am going to have to go to court for a specific issue order.
Will the court wish to just sort this problem or try to sort others at the same time?
I need to go to court to get permisson to do something ex isn't allowing, not a biggy in my eyes he is just being spiteful towards me.
But,
I do not have ex's address, he hasn't seen them (DC) for over 6 months, or tried to, he used to hit them and myself and walked out on us all for some other woman.
I denied him access the one time he asked due to previous behaviours.
Will the court just grant me a specific issue order? Or will they sort out the access issue at the same time? Could I, by chance, be given a residence order too?

He'll have to issue his own application for the court to want to deal with contact, though technically the court can accept his application verbally. IME courts are less and less inclined to do this than they were previously.

if the court has only allowed time for the specific issue order, that's all it will do on that day, but if he starts talking about contact/residence, there may well be other hearings to consider the bigger picture.

generally anything and everything can be done at a court hearing if both parties agree to it, but if there is a dispute, that can't usually be resolved except on a date specially arranged for doing so.
