Legal advice SOS!

I was in a long term marriage which I left due to domestic abuse. At the time I felt lucky to get out alive. MY Ex spent the next 4 years dragging me through court trying to take the children away, claiming he was the primary carer even though he had a full time job and I was at home with the children. A shared care arrangement was the outcome and it has not worked well. Now the children have disclosed abuse. He managed to turn it around in court suggesting I might have put them up to it....I urgently need good strategic legal advice.

Which you'll probably get from your legal team rather than anonymous posters venting their opinion on the strength of 6 lines of prose.

I would also keep calm and always be honest. Are social services involved? They should be if abuse is being disclosed. They would be able to help and advise you, but your legal advisor should be invaluable especially as they have been advising you throughout.

I don't have a legal advisor. I am looking for one I guess and wondered if anyone out there had found an amazing solicitor near London, Ideally a woman who is an extremely strong strategist too. I had a man as a lawyer last time and I always felt he was more sympathetic to my ex. In retrospect I don't think I had good advice. Yes Social services is involved because the children called Childline. The problem is the father is a master class spin doctor and says it's not true and is so charming with it he can even convince me and I know firsthand from living with him how things are rather than how they can appear. He is saying the children are confused and need help! I am sure Social Services are scratching their heads as he filmed himself being brilliant with the children. His evidence of course!!! There are no marks on the children so I am not sure there is a lot they can do. I worry my ex will ride this one out then march back into court and use it to prove the care arrangements aren't working. His family has deep pockets so I need to prepare for this possibility.
