Just how long do you think you could keep a baby in your room ?

To sleep, obviously I'd let him out at weekends and in the day sometimes
Am just trying to rearrange the house and need to plan for the next two years at least.
Am thinking he could just have a cot in our room for 24 months couldn't he ?
And share our wardrobe space, not planning on him having many toys as we've been there and made that mistake before, mine played with saucepans and cardboard boxes, still do really.

am having same problem - have 5th baby and no extra room. 6 months old and still in our bed. so she may stay in our room till she leaves home at 18. that'll stop number 6 ever appearing anyway....!!!!

Not sure really, but DC2 due in August will have to have a corner of our, admittedly HUGE bedroom for about 7mths.

The house we are renting is a weird layout with a massive master bedroom, a small office (which DS uses as bedroom), upstairs, then 2 small bedrooms in the basement, which I wouldn't be happy about either of them going into.

I wonder how long before I get sick of it.

Yip, we still have our 13month old in our room too as his toddler sister still screams the house down some nights and they would just wake each other up. We have now decided that until she bloody better gets through this stage, our eldest, 9 will share the big room with the baby as he will really only use it to sleep in. And we'll put the toddler in the other room. Not ideal, but I'm sure we'll all survive. And we need to get him out of our room - the other two were both out by 6 months!

Good luck.
