Hi, I have 6 children, 4 ds's and 2 dd's ranging in age from 16 years to 10 months. I am 40 and work part time as a teacher. I know it's time to stop having babies but could cry every time I think of never giving birth again...am I mad? And at 10 months how many months do I have left to bf? I can't think about never bf again....I am mad!!
Part of me looks forward to sleeping, nights out and me time but those things are nothing compared to my dc's.
Anyone else feel the same?

I can't wait for grandkids!

My mum adores being a granny, she says its so nice beacause its all the lovely bits of parenthood without any of the stressy tiring bits! Plus she can go back to her own neat and tidy home and flop on the sofa, read a book etc in peace afterwards! Think I will enjoy all that in years to come.

Cordelia Dylan Ismay known as Dylan

Oooh i love it! I said the other day to someone i love the name Dylan. Cordelia is so cute, she could be a Dilly.

I think if dh had agreed Indie would have been a Dorothy. If she had been a boy it would have been Wolf Alexander. Bonkers i know

Alexandra is DD2 so you'll get no bonkers comment from me

I've got a Dylan too, but mine is the blue kind we named him after BOb.

If I ever have a nother girl I lurvveee the name Eliza. Also love Skye, and nearly used it for dds 1 and 2, but it was laughed at by everyone, too hippy, apparently! Hippy or chav, so I shyed away.

Please do NOT make me feel broody...

Surely four is a large family when we are global nomads?!

Another close friend just confided in me that she is due in December; I felt the usual jealousy. I fear that I must be bonkers!

Dizzy - aww that's so sweet of you naming your DD4 after me

Arianna is very pretty, can I steal it, Ari for short but oh that's too much like DD1's name.

It was hard enough last time to find a name

Elianna Summer

Well clearly Hugo is fantabulous. Mine is 4 and starting school in September

Fecking Emma Bunton and Louise Redknapp are lurkers on here and have stolen ds#5 name

Cadmum · 24/04/2009 22:04

Oh no... Naming...

You have all chosen brilliant potential siblings' (and chicken) names so you ought to have at least one more.

Just one teeny one as DH would say...

Some bitch faced Sugababe stole DD2's name a month before she was born but we decided that as she was a Sugababe and a Z list celeb no one would know anyway but a few friends did say oh a Sugababe called her DD that.

dizzydixies · 24/04/2009 22:05

I felt the same way when DD2's name was stolen right after I had her too by

Steven Gerrard and Amanda Holden

DH wouldn't let me have Hugo because there is a wee country and western singer called Hugo and same surname as us that his dad used to torturehimwith make him listen to all the time as a child

I think girls names are so easy, I can think of loads I'd use, but I would really really struggle to find a nother boys name!

I have decided if I am ever alloed to get pg again, I will have to have twins though. A girl and a boy, and then I will be done. Another girl so I get to use my leftover girl names, another boy so ds has a brother to get filthy with!!!
