we Have DD5 & DS5 months
me and DH are thinking of a 3rd! Hubby said to get on with it now rather than later! So we are currently “trying” I fell pregnant very quickly with both. I am freaking out slightly at managing!? We have a very busy lifestyle I run my own doggy daycare / boarding business from home. Hubby runs plant hire but I also do all paperwork/ accounts for this business also. Baby no2 is super easy and I can get on with paperwork while he’s entertained in his high chair ect and DD is obviously at school. Is a 3rd baby & 2 under 2 a bonkers idea!? How do people juggle 3? How do you entertain a baby & 1yr old?

any help or advice appreciated I’d love a 3rd but worried I won’t be able to cope & keep our business afloat + housework , still runs swimming lessons ect ect!

Following almost in exactly the same position! I have preschool DD, and 1 month old DS. I would like a third and last baby, DH says if we do it will have to be soon as he doesn’t want to get DS out of nappies only to go back to them again. Thinking of trying at Christmas but want to see how it played out for others!

It is a really tough decision, I was broody straight away and gave it a couple of months to see if it passed. Still feeling like a 3rd would complete the family. Just worried a 3rd would have a bigger impact than I am imagining!?

I only have 2 but they are 15 months apart. I got pregnant when DD was 6 months. The first 6-9 months were SO hard but that was partly because she had silent reflux and didn't sleep for more thsn 2 hours! But... they are 2 and 3 now and are just soooo amazing together, they really are the best of friends. I really want a third and would love to get pregnant again sooner rather than later so they are closer in age... but ny husband wants to wait a little while as it has finally got easier!!

Going from 2 to 3 is the biggest change. Bigger car for instance. It's impossible to fit 3 car seats in the back of a standard car. 3 takes you beyond standard family tickets for things etc.
In terms of time, once you go beyond one then it's all mich of a muchness. We have 5. 2-3 was the hardest.

I have no idea but the only thing I'd caution is about the small gap is that atm you have no idea what your second child is going to be like, health, temperament, behaviour etc nor how your next pregnancy will be health wise for you and unborn baby. I know loads of people just go for it anyway obviously but I feel the risks of that stuff increase the more kids you have in the sense that it is harder to jugggler complications the more children you already have. I have two and my second is 19 months and is absolutely nowhere near walking yet and awaiting medical review for that for example. It's difficult for me now having a child of that age and size who can't walk and juggling them with my 4 yr old. I shudder to think how I'd manage if I were pregnant at the same time or already had a newborn. Just something to think about I think sorry for sounding negstive. I guess I'm a lot more risk averse than most people though.
