Out of curiosity -

How many kids do you have & what are their ages/the age gaps?

Do you find having them closer together better or having more age between them?

Tell me everything!!
Trying to weigh up when to start trying for another 🤣

I much prefer about 3/3.5 years and don't understand why people want children very close in age. From my dc and friends, I honestly think when they have slightly different needs and aren't too close in age, they get along exceptionally well because they need different things from parents. A 1 & 2 year old for example, don't have that many differences in their needs/how they spend time with parents, but a 1 and 4.5 year old do. To me that lets each have a bit more 1 to 1 time, for example practicing reading & playing more complex games for 4 year old while 1 year old naps.

I have a few different gaps (including one close in age), but I really enjoy that nursery school age gap or more. I also find it is lovely b/c they are very excited for new baby.

I think close together is easier in the long run.

My parents are in their 50s there's 4 of us. I was born in their early 20s next child very late 20s then early 30s and mid 30s as a result DM did the school run for 16 years solid.

Their in their 50s now I'm married and have children but the youngest is still at school.

We are four brothers I am 19 years old when I was born my mum was very young then my mum got married and had three other children my last little sister is only 14 months old and now My mum told me she doesn't use birth control and She would like to have another child.
I'm against, the house looks like a nursery.
There are other parents who want more children and already have older children ...

We have 5yr, 16.5mth, 2mth shy of 3yrs, twins, 6yr. Eldest is 16, youngest 7mth.
Close together is exhausting but you get used to it, I was so tired when the twins were young that I was dozing off while having a root canal 🤣. The larger gaps are nice but they can be a bit too keen to 'help', I've had to tell our younger ones off for picking baby up more than I'd like.
