Any recommendations on double buggies?

Youngest will be a couple of months under 2 when baby is born.

No car. School run twice a day.

Would prefer parent facing and not front heavy.

Would also prefer non massive price tag Wink

Interesting thread. I have a 3 year old who occasionally goes in pushchair for long walks and I’m pregnant with twins.

We have Silver Cross Pioneer for 3yo at the moment. DH is tall and lots of prams were too short for him (he does a lot of pushchair walking to give him his due).

Our thinking at the moment is to go for a Silver Cross Wave double travel system initially (already have one car seat & isofix from DD) and then later as they get bigger and heavier, maybe use something like the Out & About Nipper. Anyone who has the Out & About, does it extend for tall people?

I found the Pioneer quite heavy as DD got older so I suspect the Wave would probably be too heavy by toddlerhood, especially with two.

The Mountain Buggy Duet is fab. Narrow enough that it fits through all doors even though it's a side by side double. There are parent facing seats as well which can last you past 6 months.

I think it's the most popular buggy with twin mums which says a lot!

@TheRedFox thanks for the tip, I’ll take a look at the Mountain Buggy Duet!

There's a really helpful FB group which you might want to join - very helpful and full of useful info.
