I'm currently pregnant with my fourth baby (due October) I need some advice on the best pushchair to get as my third little one will still only be 16 months old once no.4 arrives!! Confused
I don't know what to look for as need something that can carry the both of them yet will also allow for number 4 to grow into? I don't want a side by side system as my doors won't allow for the extra width..any help & guidance would be much appreciated!!

I got an Uppababy Vista secondhand for mine (newborn and 22mo at the time). It can also convert to a single when necessary. It’s an absolute beast though, really huge (but I got an oldish model- be warned that with some of the older models you can’t use a toddler seat and carrycot simultaneously). I’m happy with it though!

I've got a mothercare genie which I love. In the past I have had an abc design zoom, which is very long, but good for bigger children, a Jane twin two which was very heavy, a joovy caboose which was very difficult to stear. A graco trekko duo sport, which was like a Phil and teds and was great until toddler decided to kick baby's seat up.

Another vote for Uppababy vista. Was great when had a toddler and newborn (I used a buggy board as eldest got older). Great system.

Be aware some tandems mean you have to have the bigger child at the front and this can make the pram very difficult to get up curbs etc

I had 15 months between mine and went with the icandy orange. It was between that and the vista. I chose the orange because it has cinema seating (ie baby at the back is higher so can see above the seat ahead) and also has a build in buggy board

Built* in buggy board. My DD is now two and is starting to use this

We have a vista and absolutely love it, but we've bought an out n about little nipper double for when DC2 comes along this summer. Hasn't arrived yet so can't give a review, but it's lighter and only a few cm wider than the vista. I do love the vista but it's a bit of a beast and I suspect it'll be very heavy and unwieldy with two in it.

I know you said you didn't want a side by side, but the mountain buggy double is very narrow (similar to a single). Might be worth measuring to see if it would fit as a side by side much easier to push when they're a bit bigger (I have twins). Or maybe sling and single buggy combination could work? We used sling for our eldest when twins were born.
