Anyone with two dishwashers?

I’ve read now and then on Larger Families of people who have two dishwashers (and washing machines, actually). I always wondered how you know you’d need two dishwashers, but it finally dawned on me I’ve known for years! At night when I set the dishwasher, there is a sink full of dishes still left til the next morning. I do around three loads a day, but never entirely clear the sink. We are getting our kitchen done and am contemplating an additional slimline, which would be useful for half loads.

Anyone have a set-up like this? Did an additional dishwasher help? We have 4 dc 7-13 and they like to cook!

Dehumidifier if you are in England for drying clothes. Shut the washing in a room with the window closed. Turn on dehumidifier and it sucks the water out. Really cheap to run, much better for the environment than a tumbler and you can use the water in your iron.
