Hotel options?

Can anyone suggest a hotel chain that has family rooms for five people?
Or other suggestion of types of places we could all stay together other than a holiday cottage?

Thanks

How old is your youngest ? Premier inn always let a 5th under three and often a third under 10 if you ask the manager .

Lool on airbnb, we often hire apartments rather than stay in hotels so kids can be put to bed and we can stay up and do our own thing as opposed to sitting in the dark 😂

Shamelessly place-marking. I have four, we usually book two rooms but would be nice to have other options.

We do stay at torquey leisure hotels (it's several hotels joined together) which has apartments in the Carlton but you can pay for half board and you get the benefits of a normal Hotel guest including maid service.

We often end up hiring cottages and lodges as that's easier with my brood.

I sometimes just ring or email and ask if I can have a room for 5 of us. It's usually not a problem, they just add an extra single bed or camp bed.

If not, I book adjoining rooms - costs a bloody fortune though.

But mostly, we book 2 bedroom self catering accommodation. I find the hotel room far too cramped.

Hilton

Usually cheaper than premier in and their ilk and include breakfast

Try centre parks and log cabins type places and caravan parks

Youth hostels often have family rooms for 6+ people you can get exclusive use of and some are en-suite. We have 3 teenagers and on a journey we make 3-4 times a year we often break it in the middle in a hostel even now.

Other than that, we've had good holiday cottages and Air BnB. Now that ours are old enough if we are in a hotel we book a double and a triple and shove the kids in together.

Thanks.
I’m thinking more for a one or two night thing, so cottage etc seems excessive.
I’ll try phoning some direct and see how I get one.
We have three, 2, 4, 6 so would easily be ok in one room.
