Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My sister had 13 months between dc1 and her twins, they did go through a slightly feral stage but thats long gone and the twins start school in sept. Routine is key in the early years as are boundaries!

Chapman198 · 09/01/2018 19:16

Ferral stage 😂
This made me lol so much

My first born and second they was 17 months between them and this was really hard so I can't really give you any advice.

My sil has a 18 month old n is expected twins in June/July
This is crazy
Is also has five other children aged
About 5,7,9,12,13

8 kids in a three bed house
4boys 4girls

I don't visit often the level of noise is unbearable

Lol

Good luck to you op

Thank you both. Feral stage made me laugh Grin

I hadn't even considered twins but I think 4 under 3 would finish me off and turn me feral lol

I just posted this on another thread, but it's relevant to yours, so I'll repost!
We had 3 under 3 (and now have 6 under 10!) - Yes, it's hard work at times BUT the positives far outweigh the negatives. Things that you thought were oh so important when you only had 1 or 2 kids...well, you just don't sweat the small stuff anymore. I found that 3 was actually easier than 2 (and, so some extent, so is 6!)! They all have someone else to go & play with & I just love seeing their changing relationships with each other. You'll be FINE - 3 is a lot of fun...and your 2 will adjust in no time & love their little bro or sis.

littlepooch · 10/01/2018 20:06

Oh wow flutter - your house must be so much fun!
Thank you for the reassurance - it's very early days so trying not to get too excited but I've always though a bigger family would be wonderful so I'm sure it will all work out......

I know someone who had 3 under 3 and now has 4 under 5, so obviously liked it! Grin she's a very chilled out mum. I don't know how she does it, but it's obviously pissible! I had 3 under 4 and it was hard but it's now fantastic and I'm expecting number 4!!

littlepooch · 11/01/2018 16:11

Oh congratulations brutus! What's one more in the grand scale of things :)
I have become more chilled with dc2 so no doubt will have to relax even more with no 3!

I had 3 under 4. DC1 was nearly for DC2 was 1 when DC3 was born. I found the translation from 2 to 2 very hard, DC3 was quite demanding and DC2 starting acting up although he had been such a good baby.

It's only getting easier now that DC3 has started preschool.

ruthieruthuk · 11/01/2018 19:55

I have 4boys and my eldest is only 4 so yes I have experienced this and yes people often call me mad but bring it on haha!! It's quite a challenge yes, but it's also fun too at times when I'm not getting scratched, nipped, bitten, lol!!

littlepooch · 11/01/2018 20:24

Oh golly. If it works out I'm in for a chaotic time aren't I?

I think I'm coming to terms with the surprise but my DH is really stressed I can tell.

Thank you all that have responded - knowing others have done it and survived it really helping!

I had 3 in 3 years 2 months, it was fine. I also had and 8 year old - it was a lot of practical work and I just built my life around places I could walk to, doing a load of washing every evening etc.

littlepooch · 12/01/2018 16:09

Thanks random - I guess being practical and organised is key. As is having a sense of humour :)
