Literally had a +ve pg test today and I'm about 4 weeks.

Dds are almost 7yo and almost 4yo; I've wondered about having another baby for a couple of years and it was getting to the point of 'it's now or never': dd1 took 9m to conceive naturally and dd2 took 2y and 6 cycles of clomid, so this pg happening after 3m of not trying very hard has left me a bit Shock today, to say the least!

Both girls will be in FT school by the time this baby is born. I have been properly broody for months and a little jealous of every bump I've seen, but why am I so shocked? I have felt tearful and quite like I've been on a roller coaster of elation and worry/disbelief all day (it's worth saying that the baby will prob be born by ELCS as I had a bad birth with dd1 and elected for CS with dd2. Would elect again but am feeling a bit 'eeek!' now). The shock wears off, doesn't it? I didn't feel shock with dds, so this is new.

Please tell me the best things about having 3dcs and any tips you might have for running a house that has 3 children Smile I need some very positive things to focus on to calm me down! TIA

Always ime I haven't made any mummy friends with dc3.

Older ones in school. Their friends dont have such young siblings.

Dc3 still young but I need to find him some play pals!

Hi Molotov - I'm in a.similar situation, 10+4 with dc3 and have a DS nearly 7 and a dd nearly 4. Had been trying for dc3 for a while but was massively shocked to get a BFP! Am getting a bit more excited now and definitely starting to look preggers, can't really hide it any more! Am planning to do antenatal yoga and an nct refresher course to meet some more mummy friends this time around.

Congratulations!

Congratulations. My surprise third pregnancy had me in tears at times. Mostly after first scan when we discovered it was twins!!! When they were born dd was two and half and ds was17 months so very busy but so much fun. Dc5 is now almost 3 months and I have dd6 ds4 b/g twins aged 3 and this time it's hard work. But lovely to have me and baby time while all others are at school/preschool. Enjoy Smile

Just found out I am pg with number 3. Have a boy just 4 and a girl 2.5 at the mo. Excited but currently suffering from a slipped disc which is just awful right now. Desperately want it to heal so I can enjoy my last pregnancy (definitely).
