Hotel for 2 and 4 dc? Including baby twins

Want to book to go visit our friends next weekend, nearest hotel is premier inn, option of selecting how many kids, but only choice for one cot. What do you do? Book it and 'demand another cot' call them, what? Jeez how did simple things turn so difficult?

I would phone ahead most places are very accommodating and will give you an extra cot but you might find due to safety you aren't allowed all in one room. But each hotel is different.

There may not be floor space for two cots. The PI family rooms we have stayed in have been fairly spacious but, with the two singles as well as the usual bed in there, I'm not sure that there would be two bits of floor bog enough for a cot. Some of their hotels do have interconnecting rooms. Could you book those?

Some hotels have strict rules regarding fire regs which mean you need a 3 room bed with only one cot for a family of 4. Otherwise they make you get interlinked rooms.

Can the twins not share one cot?

Get 2 rooms and split the adults? We are nearly in that territory and unfortunately having a big family means extra expense...

I would avoid a hotel. Go on www.airbnb.com and see what is in the area. You would be better off with an apartment (and prob cheaper than hotel!)
