Simple S&S ISA with reasonable fees for small investments

I am looking to start investing - already have savings but wanting to plan further ahead. Just starting out with around £50 a month across index funds

I am hoping for an easy to use provider with reasonable fees.

FreeTrade was recommended but as they have annual fees I think it will be too high for the small amounts I am investing - if you had a lot in there it is probably more cost efficient. I have heard of Trading 212 but wasn’t sure how easy it is to use.

Any tips/advice for a complete novice?!

Wealthify is a robo-investor platform. You can pick your strategy- adventurous, cautious, whatever- to determine the balance of your portfolio between equities, bonds, cash. The fees are low (I think 0.6
%) and you can put your funds into a stocks and shares ISA wrapper so growth is tax free. You can invest small amounts- from £10 pcm- and make one - off payments as well very easy.

now that you can pay into more than one S&SISA in the same tax year I have two. The Wealthify one is an adventurous profile , mostly equities. The other is a Vanguard global index target date fund, of 2035, which automatically balances out of higher risk equities towards bonds as you get towards the target date. Both are low cost and give me access to markets without having to worry about picking funds. Vanguard wants you to invest a minimum of £100 per month. I am not sure if their recent fee rise applies to my fund but I am content with it still being pretty low, but obviously might review this in future.

Another option is Dodl from AJ Bell, the app based investment platform.
Fees are 0.15% per year, or minimum of £1/month, whichever is higher.
You can invest as little as £25/month with them.
