Higher savings interest rates

I've been using Chase for my instant savings account as they had good competitive interest rates which unfortunately have gone down quite a bit. Not only have they gone down due to the base rate going down, but they have also cut an additional 0.25% below the base rate (so it's now base rate minus 0.5%). I'm now looking for a different instant savings account which ideally doesn't limit your deposits to a few hundred pounds a month. If you don't mind sharing which bank/ financial institution you keep your savings and what their interest rate is, I'd be grateful. Thanks

If I have any spare money I use comparison sites for the best rate of interest, I don't know why anyone would do anything else tbh. Someone has done all the research and keeps sites up to date so you can find the best rate in seconds, what's not to like 😁

Just look at MSE

I'm getting 4.85% on easy access with Atom bank but expecting it to drop 0.25 soon.

Also 4.9% in an ISA at Trading 212.

I also use moneyfacts or MSE to compare rates when I need to switch although be aware that some have reduced since th base rate reduction and some haven't.

I've just had a serious look at my savings rates. I just moved £5k from my banks flexible saver (1.25% wowee) to the Trading 212 cash isa at 4.9%.
The only amount I'll leave in the bank savings account is enough to cover the 'oh god the telly's bust" days we all get.

Great move! Such a big difference!
