Best returns? Bonds, S&S?

I'm interested in what sort of annual returns you are receiving and how/where you are investing your money?

I currently have around a large lump in a one year fixed rate account which is going to come to fruition this Feb with 4.25% interest. I'd like to know if I could be making better returns elsewhere.

4.9%in cash ISA (trading 212)
about 4% premium bonds
32% stocks &shares isa (I invest in individual shares which I would very much advise against unless you know what you’re doing)
Ive also got a Flagstone account which I would highly recommend if you’ve used your allowances, currently getting 4.62%

it depends on your age, attitude to risk etc. always pension, s&s isa, ISA first.

Bonds won’t return much, but are a safer bet.
T212 for cash ISA as it’s flexible and interest paid daily.
I’ve got around 6 managed funds I invest in. Different risk levels, different return levels from a rubbish 6% to 17% p a . I have a high risk fund that has performed well over the years, but is now dropping off a cliff, I need to decide whether to ride it out or cash out and re invest else where.
Ive also got an index fund that I’m happy with.
I don’t invest in individual shares. I don’t follow the market enough for that.
Always make sure you have enough cash for emergencies. Then, as @Madmoomoo says you should invest in order of pension, SS ISA then cash ISA. (Can’t comment on a LISA as I’m too old for one!)

It depends on what you need the money for

We have stocks and shares ISAs for long term investments which we don't need to access at any particular point - get around 15-20% returns

Cash ISA with trading 212 for funds we expect to need within the next two years

Premium bonds to stash away excess from current account that we expect to need within a year

Thanks for your advice so far. I've already maxed out my ISA. So I'll look into a S&S ISA next year.
