Who to invest with?

I need to set up a SIPP and sort out this year's ISA. I have settled on either AJ Bell or Vanguard. The funds etc available for investment seem to be fairly similar, so I suppose I'm asking whether one is better than the other, or if there is another organisation that is good which has totally passed me by!

It's easier to move money between holdings in AJ Bell. If you want to move money from your ISA to pension with Vanguard you have to withdraw it to your bank and pay it back in. With AJ Bell it can just be shuffled over within their system.

On the other hand, Vanguard has fewer funds so it's a bit easier to find the thing you want to invest in.

Both are reasonably user-friendly interfaces.

And get a shift on - there's not much of this tax year left!

I'm very happy with AJ Bell. No experience of Vanguard, but Vanguard wouldn't let me transfer in my child's government trust fund into a junior ISA where AJ Bell would. That was my first account with them. Loved the interface so have now set up a few accounts with them for me and the kids.

Thanks all, I'm going to go with AJ Bell.
