Named as a Trustee in a will

I was named as Trustee in a family member's will, I believe it is a discretionary trust They have left £20k to several children which can only be accessed when they reach the age of 23. Anyone know where I start with investing this money? I contacted a couple of IFAs but they never responded. I'm conscious that it's not a huge amount to invest so they probably aren't interested. The oldest of the children is a young teen so it will be invested for a good muber of years. Was an IFA the right person to approach? Any advice very gratefully received as I haven't a clue where to start and just seem to be going around in circles with all the information I come across online. Thank you.

For under 100k, an IFA is not going to be particularly interested, or they will charge an unsupportable percentage. One option would be to look at a managed fund that the trust can invest in directly. Something like https://www.avivainvestors.com/en-gb/capabilities/multi-asset-macro/multi-asset-fund-ranges/maf-core/. For a time frame over 10 years, I would not be too risk averse - equities outperform bonds over the long term in most instances.

Thank you @Hereward1332, that was my thinking about IFAs. I'll most definitely look further into the link you've added :)
