Is there anything wrong or any pitfalls in a passively invested SIPP

As opposed to having it managed by personal fund managers ?
I'm just trying to decide if the £1000's in fees is worth it .
Thankyou for any advice

Nothing. Read up on it, rebel finance school is good on this.

Monevator has good advice on this. Lots of evidence that it's a wise move, especially for a SIPP.
The risk is that you might have achieved better with a managed portfolio, but the reality is that most people don't.

The reality is that three quarters of all managed funds don’t beat a simple low-cost index - managed funds are generally for the clueless and they pay for it handsomely.

Op I have vanguard life stragety 100% EQUITY no bonds.

In belive Black rock do similar.

In my sipp I have that and a few other index tracking funds then less money in what I call my gamble funds eg... Smithson which may get more exciting returns but I pay more in fees.

I would definitely read up a little and put it under your control.
