Just that really. I want a better interest rate so need to open something new. Would transfer my money to this. But there's so many scams about, im scared i transfer it and never see it again.

Any advice?

I opened a new savings account before Christmas. The process of moving lump sums out of my current bank account stressed me out tbh. I did tf a small amount first (£200) to check it got to the account but I was hampered by a £5k a day limit on my current account so had to move the money over a number of days. Every day, my bank used a different security procedure that left me panicking about whether texts received as authentication were genuine - although it would have to have been a hell of a coincidence if they weren't. In one transaction I got a text on a known bank number telling me I'd get another text on a different number which I had to respond to as my payment was being held even though it showed as having been made on my current account. I was a wreck by the time I'd finished moving all the money! I've got another account to do yet and have been putting it off! I'd far prefer to walk into a High Street branch and do it all there but the best rates are on line accounts.
