Switching funds in Vanguard

It's that time of year again with the end of the
tax year upon us. I want to rejig some of my
funds within Vanguard to change the asset
allocation (specifically switch away from VUSA to a similar that is an Index Fund and not anETF and hence doesn't throw off dividends).

My question is (hopefully) a simple one:
If I sell the whole amount (large, 6 figures) in
one fund and buy the entire amount in another fund within Vanguard will that incur Capital Gains Tax?

My understanding is that if I was to purchase
the same fund I would have to wait 30 days
but it is all a bit confusing.
Note I am not talking about Bed & ISA which I am also doing and I am happy with. I am talking about doing a switch within the same GIA.

Sorry for the super nerdy question and thanks as ever in advance,
