October collection/transfers

Was looking for one of the IVF monthly threads but didn't see any, so thought I'd start one!

I'm on day 7 of stimming so I guess egg collection will be coming up soonish? It's my first cycle, so still new to this.

I'm on Bemfola 150 UI every day, and have recently added in Fyremadel. It's going really well overall! I use numbing cream and my husband does the injections for me. I'm starting to get some discomfort though, it's like I can feel my ovaries when I walk and I'm definitely bloated. Trying to drink lots of water and eat protein.

I have another scan and blood test tomorrow, so fingers crossed things are advancing well! I'm in France, but everything seems fairly similar to the UK so far to be honest.

Anyone else also in the throes of injections?

Oh im so sorry!! I was hoping for a good outcome. Do you get regular updates or now radio silence until day 5.

@EggsistentialCrisis no not my first cycle for trying for another baby. This is my 5th egg collection but also have done 2 frozen transfers and 1 fresh transfer. I had a fet back in november of 2024 from an embryo frozen in 2021 but it ended in a chemical. I had 4 egg collection cycles and only made 2 poor quality embryos from the second cycle, one didnt work and one was a mc at 7 weeks. I dont really get enough eggs or actually make embryos. I get any where from 2 to 4 eggs and usually no embryos. I was offered to try a different medication which is the manopur so il either not respond at all or respond but maybe still only get 4 eggs.. just a huge gamble this cycle.
