My period should be here in the next few days meaning i’ll start prep for frozen transfer number two!
Looking for anyone else in the same time frame to support each other?

Need ivf as i have no tubes and had a failed transfer in July. I also might have APS so im on clexane and aspirin.

I spent yesterday evening worrying myself over the lining measurements and it being on the thinner side. I also read the lining won’t get thicker now because of the progesterone, but trying to remind myself the clinic knows better than I do and decided to go ahead. I think because transfer is imminent I’m just feeling much more anxious about everything! I’m so scared of it not working again because I know how awful it feels now, if that makes sense.

Magix86 · 05/10/2026 11:50

Oh @MFH1 I'm sorry you're feeling that way. But you're right - the clinic wouldn't want to go ahead if they didn't think it would work. I know I said about diet making a minimal impact but I've also been anxiously reading stuff....and how beetroot juice and pomegranate juice can help thicken lining. It can't hurt to try and it may help? I haven't heard about the progesterone - does it stop the lining thickening? When is your transfer?

I have been drinking the beetroot juice (which is awful!) since I started estrogen but I could add in pomegranate as I suppose like you say it wouldn’t hurt.
According to Google, which I know I really shouldn’t consult, once you commence the progesterone your body starts trying to prepare for implantation rather than continuing to thicken the lining.
I think I need to ban myself from Google and social media for the next few weeks 🙄

Magix86 · 05/10/2026 12:42

@MFH1 Haha I'm exactly the same! Always googling something and it actually doesn't help at all so probably need to ban myself too. Try and take it easy, you're doing everything you can. And the clinic wouldn't want to go ahead if they didn't think it was good enough

@MFH1 is it transfer day tomorrow?! Good luck!!

And sounds good with your lining @Rainbowwish26 that's great.
My clinic said my progesterone blood test would be taken on the day of transfer, wondering if that might be a bit late 🤔
I've always done the progesterone rectally. I read so many posts about the mess they make vaginally that I really didn't fancy it lol...there is zero mess rectally so just seemed to suit me better. Everyone has their own preferences tho I guess! I'm not looking forward to those again tho 😕

MFH1 · 08/10/2026 06:10

@Rainbowwish26 No don’t worry about it, I could worry myself over absolutely anything at this point! Sounds great re your lining!

I’ve been doing progesterone vaginally, but as I’m just twice a day I lie down for at least half an hour after I insert and that seems to help with the mess. I didn’t do that last time and I remember it being so messy.

My clinic doesn’t do progesterone bloods, despite me asking. Again another worry! So I am just having to hope that my levels are where they need to be.

@Magix86 Yes transfer today. Thank you! I have barely slept a wink 🤣

We are twins! I had a scan yesterday and lining 9mm, we're doing modified natural so took a trigger shot today. Blood test on weds and transfer on thursday.

Starting progesterone tomorrow. Planning to do it rectally as heard that's less messy and less irritating. Hoping for not too many side effects

what time is your transfer?
mine11am, they’ve told me to take some progestrone tonight but i’m trying to work out what time.
Also is it ok to take my estrogen tablets and progestrone at the same time?
last transfer i staggered it but was getting so confused and muddled and was doing them later
