So I have decided to share my story to give hope to those of us TTC. We were told unexplained infertility. We went through all the normal tests and everything came out good. Some years later, I had PCOS, I was having irregular periods and I rarely ovulated. We tried with many methods for 15years, I had about 8 failed IUI and 7 failed IVF cycles. It was a good thing we could afford it because insurance could only cover 2cycles for us. Test later showed I had low AMH. For years I had been saying that I thought my thyroid was low and that my hormones were out of whack but the doctors kept saying everything was fine. I saw a NaPro doctor and she said I had already done everything she would suggest. We tried acupuncture and it also didn't work. I cried my eyes out almost all the time, that my sights were getting bad due to much crying every day and night. It's A good thing I have a supportive husband because he was always there for me and always giving me hope that we definitely would have our own baby, at a time, I was beginning to wonder if he deliberately kept them somewhere (smiles). When I was 36, I said I was done with it all and decided to take a break and live my life. So when I was 38, our doctor called us one morning and asked if we were open to trying out with an Integrative/Naturopathic doctor who is a fertility specialist that deals mainly with natural process. So we decided one more time to give it a go. I got pregnant and had my first baby when I was 39. His procedures were simple and natural. He prepared some meds and sent to us, changed our diet, gave us timed sex and gave me fertility yoga, that was it. I got pregnant again at 42 and had my second child at 43. I feel so very lucky that our babies are in our lives and that I was able to conceive well into my 40s. It's possible, hard but possible. I wanted to post here to give hope to those who, like me, have been trying for a long time. Hope was so very important to me in this process and it is a good thing my husband constantly gave me hope. I want to pass that hope to anyone who needs it. I hope you get to have your own baby however way they may come to you. Never give up.
