Pregnancy still possible while getting unwanted hair in face?

Getting dark chinhairs here and there (I discovered 3 in total in the time span of a year), wich I never had before.
Also after my miscarriage when I was 42 I got tiny thin hairs right above the left and right upperlip.
I just turned 44, and I wonder if I can still get pregnant while my body is slowly undergoing such changes.

Any women who still got healthy babies at 44?
my cycles are regular, but getting pregnant is not easy.
I use OPK and timed intercourse
I’k very sad adfter another failed cycle and I wonder is it’s even worth trying at this point

@mom2beprayforme I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sure you've researched and looked into all this so you'll know that at 44 there's less than 5% chance of conceiving each month as 90% of eggs are chromosomally abnormal. I used to think that because I was fit and healthy, had regular cycles etc that I could defy these odds but hard as it is, even with ivf it's statistically unlikely. Using donor eggs would give you a much better chance but I appreciate this isn't for everyone.

It's age rather than hair growth that is the challenge. You could ask your GP to test your day 3 hormones though to have a sense of where you are in terms of perimenopause. Though again, independent of the stage someone is at in terms of that, it's tough for anyone to conceive at 44. Consider an AMH test to see if IVF would be an option. Good luck.

yes I’m afraid this is the case.. donor eggs at this point is not an option for me because it’s a very costly treatment.
I expected to fall pregnant easy since I got pregnant the second try wich turned out to be a miscarriage.
Now I almost feel stupid because of this reasoning.
I too live very healthy, and I’m in good shape but that doesn’t make you more fertile.
Fact of the matter is eggs are running out at this age and nothing is gonna stop this process..

That’s an idea the day 3 hornone test. I need to check in with my insurance what the costs will be. Above age 43 insurance doesn’t cover anything regarding fertility in my region.

I thought maybe the hair growth pattern could be an indication that peri menopause has set in.
But imaybe it has norhing to do with it.

I've been battling chin hair literally since my teens and a lot more than 3 hairs. It won't be the reason you aren't conceiving sadly it will be your age.

The reason I’m mentioning the hairgrowth is because this might be another symptom of perimenopause as well as having difficulty conceiving.

I’m well aware that there are many women who have hairgrowth without difficulties to conceive healthy babies

Abroad is significantly cheaper.

Never really read that much into it, the price depends on the amount of cycles you need to become pregnant I assume
