Fresh vs Frozen, Mock Transfer, change in Meds

We have had a consultation for a sibling round with a new clinic today. We have two children, both from IVF (one fresh, one frozen). They were both born by c-section and my youngest is coming up to two so waiting until then to start.

Last egg collection was 2021. They are saying that they are recommending a frozen transfer as it increases success rates and there is evidence to suggest this. I have PCOS. Has anyone heard of this? They would support a fresh transfer if we wanted however. Prior to our successful rounds we had two rounds where I didn’t even get to egg collection and then we did but I over responded and then two failed transfers and neither embryo survived the thaw properly (didn’t expand). I’m therefore hesitant about frozen transfers.

They also said that they would recommend a mock transfer before given that I have had two previous sections. One was emergency and second was classed as Cat 3 emergency so basically planned (went into labour before section date and wasn’t safe for me to deliver) so they decided to deliver that day. My scar seems fine and no issues that I know off. No complications with the sections either.

We also used Menopur before but I am
now 20kg lighter and they are suggesting that we use Meriofert. I started on 225 Menopur but this had to be increased to 300. Given that I’ve lost 20kg since last egg collection apparently dose needs to be adjusted so she wants me to start on 150 Meriofert as if I don’t respond they can do a half doe instead of jumping to 225 which they’d have to do with Menopur. Is there much difference? When we had our freeze all egg collection I was similar weight and over responded with 225 so had to do freeze all.
