Infertility Hertility low results

Hello, I had my levels tested via Hertility and all were in normal range apart from my oestradiol level which came back as low - 48.7 pmol/l oestradiol. Google says this is very low for a pre-menopausal woman still having regular periods. I have recently undergone appointments at Aberdeen hospital and after tests & a Hycosy they diagnosed me with "unexplained infertility". They never mentioned that by oestradiol levels were so low at the Aberdeen clinic (nhs) but Hertility picked it up, should I be concerned this is the reason for 2 years infertility?

None of these levels indicate an obvious reason for infertility.

Hello! Rather than read and run, I just wanted to share my experience with Hertility results. I also had low estrogen reported but everything else within range. I tended to have lighter periods so I thought this result perhaps made sense, however your results one moment in time can be very different if you were to take the test again in a month. I wouldn't get too caught up in having low estrogen if another medial setting hasn't flagged an issue.

I'm in the "unexplained infertility" camp which can be hugely frustrating and it's very easy to try and fine reasons yourself. In my experience, all you can do is push for testing (not just bloods, but things like checking your uterine lining on certain days of your cycle). I'm on my second round of IVF (this ended up being an icsi round) and we're no closer to knowing why naturally it hasn't worked for us, but I'm just trying to trust the scientific process for now.

Hi, every situation is unique. My clinic, for example, takes a holistic approach and looks at the full picture, especially when one result isn’t perfect. Google isn’t always a reliable source because it can’t assess your individual case. If you have concerns, it may be more helpful to seek a second medical opinion.
