DOING IVF ALONE-support

Hello,
Starting treatment for my third IVF cycle (but only second transfer) in April.
I am a solo mum and don't have anyone to discuss this process and all the accompanying emotions with.

It would be great to speak to any other solo mums by choice going through this alone, or even coupled up people!

Hey!!

Im a SMBC, and already have a 2yo DD. Currently starting the process for #2
When I went through the 1st transfer (I used a donor embryo, so no stims or egg collection for me) the thread for the IVF for that month was a great source of support!
The ones who managed to get pregnant that cycle actually are still in touch, our kids are all turning 2 now!

So I would suggest you join the thread for IVF in April or whichever fits!!!

It’s tough when you don’t have someone to share those feelings with. Connecting with others who are going through the same thing, whether solo or in a relationship, can really help.

Yeah feeling very lonely with it :( Nobody cared about what I'm having done /procedures /meds etc. They just want to know if it's a positive or negative result without any understanding of the worry/mental fatigue of treatment.

Today I officially start my 2nd cycle. Having my first prostap injection.

Not a solo mum, but very much alone in my community of family and friends as no one has gone through what we're going through and you're right, no one really understands the process and so don't give support when we need it. Today is day 4 of round 2, round 1 didn't give us any genetically normal embryos unfortunately. Hopefully this thread can give you some support xx
